Academic Advising for High School and Adult Students

The Academic Advising program of CCHEC for Western’s Rawlins Outreach provides friendly and effective advising that promotes high quality learning opportunities incorporating college classes, vocational classes, and community participation.

Academic Advising is available and encouraged for high school and adult students in and around the surrounding area of the Rawlins and LSRV Outreach sites of Western. Advising provides direction and assistance for students connecting their career, education, and lifestyle into an achievable goal.

Registration for Fall semester begins in April; registration for Spring semester begins in May; and registration for Summer semester begins in January. Early advising is recommended. It is essential for Degree seeking students to meet with their advisor or the Student Services Coordinator before registration.
