LSRV Education Center Coordinator

The LSRV Education Center Coordinator works closely with the CCHEC Executive Director to develop, facilitate, and maintain community partner recruitment and stakeholder relations in the LSRV community and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for addressing community education needs, serves as the Academic Advisor for students enrolled at Western Wyoming Community College, and serves as a liaison to connect students to programs and advising at other colleges.

Automotive Technology Instructor

PAST TEACHING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED! Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a teaching certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board. Associate degree or trade school certification with several years of hands-on automotive repair experience. Possess or be a candidate for Automotive Services Excellence (ASE) certifications. Must pass criminal background checks.

Instructors are employed by the Carbon County Higher Education Center to teach trades classes to high school students. Classes must conform to the curriculum, standards and benchmarks and common assessments of Carbon County School District #1. Courses taught for college credit must be taught to the content and standards for Western Wyoming Community College courses.

Salary range begins at $48,975; higher for experience; 9-month rolling contract. Benefits include Health Insurance (including an option for a 100% paid premium), Wyoming Retirement System Pension Plan, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and numerous professional development opportunities.

Tutors

Put your skills to work while helping others! We are seeking the following part-time positions:

  • Part-time Math Tutor
  • Spanish High School Equivalency Tutor
  • ELL (English Language Learner) Tutor 

Applicants must have enthusiasm and a passion for helping students reach educational goals. Applicants should have a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate. Teaching/tutoring experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Substitute Teachers

Be a substitute teacher for fun classes in an exciting environment. We need substitute teachers for our CNA, Wood Working, Automotive, and Welding classes. Applicants must have 60 credit hours through an accredited college or completion of the substitute teacher’s class. Teaching experience preferred.
