Wood Working Instructor

The Carbon County Higher Education Center is seeking a Wood Working instructor to teach several levels of wood working to high school and adult students. Applicants must possess the skills, knowledge, and aptitude necessary to teach and model wood working and construction. Applicants must also possess or be a candidate for a Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board P.I.C. license. Previous teaching experience is preferred. This is a full-time, approximately 9-month contract with solid benefits in a state of the art facility.

Tutors

Put your skills to work while helping others! We are seeking the following part-time positions:

  • High School Equivalency Tutor
  • Spanish High School Equivalency Tutor
  • ELL (English Language Learner) Tutor 

Applicants must have enthusiasm and a passion for helping students reach educational goals. Applicants should have a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate. Teaching/tutoring experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Substitute Teachers

Be a substitute teacher for fun classes in an exciting environment. We need substitute teachers for our CNA, Pre-Engineering, Wood Working, Automotive, and Welding classes. Applicants must have 60 credit hours through an accredited college or completion of the substitute teacher’s class. Teaching experience preferred.
