We live in a community with curious people, and curious people need all kinds of educational opportunity to feed their interests.

The Carbon County Higher Education Center offers a wide array of community education classes ranging from DIY woodworking projects to informative lectures about Carbon County history to crucial workshops about important community services or life events. Learners from across the county join together at CCHEC to learn together, and we encourage you to browse through the community education offerings to find something that interests you. If you don’t find what you are looking for, ask! We respond to community needs, and we will do the best we can to provide what you need to quiet your curiosity for a while. If you’ve ever wanted to learn crochet, speak a new language, or explore your artistic side… come on in!
