Barb was born and raised in Rawlins. Before earning her nursing degree, she was an EMT I and knew she wanted to help people in need.  Barb has had the pleasure of obtaining four degrees. She is also a Diabetic Educator. She sees many patients in their homes for the Wyoming Independent Community Based program through Memorial Hospital of Carbon County (MHCC), where she has worked for over twenty years. Barb is also a Clinical Adjunct Instructor for the University of Wyoming Nursing BRAND Program

Barb is married to her best friend and they have two children and four grandchildren. Barb loves to do 5k races, walk her dog gunner, and watch her grandchildren play sports. Barb’s biggest joy in life is watching students succeed in life.

Barb has always been a big part of CCHEC, as she took a college typing class in the back room of the Rawlins National Banks’ eastside building where CCHEC offered classes. Barb started working with CCHEC in 2004 as a Nursing Educator with WWCC. She is now a Nurse Educator for CCHEC, where she has had the pleasure of teaching medical classes to students.
