Janet Garcia has lived in Wyoming since she was five years old. The Cowboy state holds a huge piece of her heart. In her spare time, she enjoys spending long days out on the lake, exploring the countryside, traveling, and expressing herself through creative outlets.

Janet started working at CCHEC in 2006 when Kid’s Campus first opened. During her time at Kid’s Campus, she was an assistant director and pre-k teacher. Those positions lead her to pursue her Child Development Associate Credential in the Early Childhood Education Field and she later got her certificate to teach Safe Sitter. Janet is currently a student at Western Wyoming Community College and her goal is to earn a degree in Social Work.

There are so many things Janet loves about CCHEC: CCHEC’s purpose, values, and overall welcoming environment for all students. Janet brings great ideas to life through CCHEC’s community education programming and promotes CCHEC in our community.
