Cory is originally from Valentine, Nebraska, but she moved to Rawlins from Larned, Kansas with her husband, 2 dogs, and 3 cats.

Cory started in her present position as Adult Basic Education Coordinator in June 2017. Up to that point at CCHEC, she had been assisting as a tutor, proctoring tests, and teaching a KickBack (high school equivalency) class.

Cory is the Adult Basic Education Coordinator at CCHEC. She helps people who are working to obtain their high school equivalency certificate through HiSET or GED testing. Cory also oversees the testing center where tests are administered and proctored for students and community members. In addition, Cory coordinates adult education classes, such as ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish classes. She genuinely enjoys her job and helping people reach their goals!
