Carbon County Higher Education Center (CCHEC) is committed to serving the higher education needs of our community and accepts the responsibility to provide high-quality training programs through the cooperative efforts of Western Wyoming Community College, Carbon County School District #1, community, industry, and local government. CCHEC provides community education courses, vocational and workforce training, and college credit courses through our partners and affiliates.

Over 500 high school juniors and seniors from all over Wyoming took part in this two-day skills and knowledge competition. Our students not only showed up but also showed off their welding skills. We are so proud to share that our students placed in the TOP 30, and one of our very own students took 1ST PLAVE OVERALL! πŸ₯‡πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ†πŸ”₯What an amazing accomplishment! πŸ†πŸ”₯ Traven Fritz- **FIRST PLACE WINNER** $6,500 Scholarship! πŸ’™πŸ‘’It's Boot-Check Time! πŸ‘’πŸ’™ We’ve had a wonderful time over the past few days teaming up with the Jae Foundation to get our Rawlins High School and Victory High School students their very own Jae boots! The Jae Foundation works hard to spread mental health awareness and suicide prevention by sharing Jae’s story and a meaningful message with studentsβ€”reminding them that they’re never alone and that they truly matter. A huge thank you to our generous sponsors at HF Sinclair and Williams for making this happen in our community. πŸ’™ A heartfelt thank you to the Jae Foundation for sharing their story and for raising awareness, support, and hope.
