Congratulations 🎉 to the winners of our 2025 Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Kate Hernandez and Angel Reyes, representing the dual and concurrent class, won our Facebook contest with their “S'more” design, while the Auto shop claimed the People’s Choice award for their “Monster Truck” 🛻 pumpkin. 🎃 🤩 A huge thank you goes out to our local Walmart for generously donating this year’s pumpkins! 🎃

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to our welding students, Israel Garcia, Traven Fritz, and Ferris Smith, who made it to the top 30 of the Steel Day Welding Competition! 🎉 Over 500 high school juniors and seniors from all over Wyoming took part in this two-day skills and knowledge competition. Our students not only showed up but also showed off their welding skills.🔥 They each earned a $1,000 Rex I. Lewis Scholarship to help them continue their education at any Wyoming Community College! And that’s not all - they also won some cool welding swag! Thanks a bunch to PUMA Steel and LCCC for organizing such a fantastic competition!

From learning hands-on skills to creating projects that showcase thought out craftsmanship, creativity, and pride in their work. These students are building more than just projects; they’re building confidence, problem solving skills, and collaboration. Thank you to their wonderful instructor, Andre for guiding them and inspiring them! ✨👏🏼✨

🩺 Hands on learning! 🩺 Barbs high school CNA students took their skills to the next level this week in the lab. Barb set up a realistic simulation where every “patient” was treated as if they had Covid. This allowed them to practice proper PPE use, along with practicing their CPR skills. What a great learning experience! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
