The preschool class serves children ages 3 (and potty trained) to 5 years old. They are broken into small groups with the 3 year olds separated from the 4-5 year olds. We capture the true play based experiences by creating centers for art, dramatic play, blocks, sensory, math and manipulatives. We also provide more structured activities to prepare them for their next exciting step, school. We focus on pre-literacy skills, listening, group and individual play, writing, pre-math, sensory, and so much more. Our experiences aren’t had by creating perfect little duplicates, but instead by focusing on children’s needs and interests.
Parents supply a changes of clothes. Comfort items such as blankets or stuffed toys for rest time are welcome as well. Please label all of your child’s items. Seasonal items should be supplied for your child’s comfort. Summer: Appropriate clothing, shoes, hat, and sunscreen. Winter: Snow pants, coat, gloves, and boots. |
