The Adult Learning Center at the CCHEC offers a variety of study programs, including: Basic Math Skills, Citizenship Classes, English as a Second Language, Brush up on Job Skills, GED Preparation and Pre-testing, Reading and Writing Skills, and Preparation for College Placement Exams.

Let our experienced staff guide you through an individualized course of study using computer instruction, one-on-one tutoring, and self study to help you reach your goals. You can attend any or all of these sessions according to your interest and needs.

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

In a comfortable one-on-one setting you can brush up on your reading, writing and math to make you more confident and enhance job skills.

General Education Development (GED)/High School Equivalancy Information

GED registration, pre-testing and one month of tutoring is only $11. Thereafter, the fee is $10 per month. The fee for GED testing is $45 for all five tests. GED testing is by appointment only.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

ESL is for non-English speaking people. Individual instruction is available for all levels in survival skills in English, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You can attend any or all of these sessions.

Inglés Como Una Segunda Idioma

Inglés como una segunda idioma es una clase para las personas que no seben hablar inglés. Instruccion para los individuos es posible para todos. Nos ensena la tecnica supervivencia para escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir inglés. Se puede asistir cualquier clase o todas las clases.
